As a newly license nail technician I wanted a more successful and challenging career. So I extended my education to safely work with clients who have special health needs or chronic health conditions to provide aseptic cosmetic nail services. Clients that are diabetics, or that have peripheral artery disease, heart conditions and other chronic illnesses, cannot risk pedicures with less than excellent infection control due to the exposure to infection. As an ANT/CMNT, I implement aseptic techniques to quickly identify nail/skin concerns to provide safe services.
