About Laura Young

I’m a strategic communication expert, educator, and communication campaign project manager who thrives at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and student success. Every day, I help clients and students sharpen their communication skills in writing, photo, video, design, and social media—while guiding real-world campaigns that deliver real results. In my role as a professor, I act as a teacher, mentor, and leader, where learning is immersive and experiential. My students don’t just complete assignments—they create meaningful deliverables for actual clients, manage project timelines, and grow their personal and professional skillsets in the process. Behind the scenes, I regularly lead cross-functional workshops and projects that range from curriculum design and magazine development to classroom renovation and strategic team facilitation. I’m passionate about building communication systems that work—and empowering others to show up clearly and confidently in every space they enter.
