In the post-COVID days ahead, what are you doing to promote a healthy worker experience? Building management has had some changes. Building managers are attending (virtually) in record numbers an assortment of webinars, live-streams, peer group meetings and joining professional groups to take ownership of their strategy towards setting the stage for returning colleagues. Let us not forgot the analysis of deferred maintenance and sustainability initiatives that continued while our friends and colleagues found new and creative ways to work from home. Energy usage dropped, HVAC programs were dialed down, contracts adjusted and money saving strategies engaged. The COVID pandemic has building managers busier than ever. From retrofits and temperature scanners, utilization of BIMS, establishing consistent PPE sources to revising cleaning and disinfection protocols, COVID has had a major impact on the FM Industry. Thankfully, through technology our peers have connected like never before, sharing best practices, successes, failures and lessons learned.
