About Laurel Carlson
In the fall of 2011, I became a Director on the executive Board of the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation, a young but very committed non-profit organization in which I have a strong personal interest. Since joining the CLF, I was able to form their first patient-networking group. As founder and group leader of the CLF-DC networking group, I help patients, especially those newly diagnosed, connect with each other and share current medical information and personal concerns about their disease. I also serve as the CLF’s advocacy ambassador for a variety of different events in DC which helps to expand their participation in important policy and regulatory meetings.
