About Laurel Dameron

My unique background in education (English Composition and English language learning), copywriting, and SEO has equipped me with an array of skills that are necessary for any job that would ask for excellence of written word. Throughout my professional career, I have enjoyed hours tutoring English language learners, both as a paid-position and as a volunteer at various non-profits. Within a semester as an English composition instructor, I quickly came to see a need for additional writing assistance for all the students at my college. In order to meet this need, I initiated and ran a school-wide writing program where I used modern collaborative technology to provide additional exercises and support to students outside the classroom. The program was successful and saw many students grow in confidence and excel in their English studies. After years of teaching and tutoring English, I leveraged my love of language to assist companies in using search engine optimization to bolster their online presence. In my time at The HOTH I created hundreds of keyword-rich blog topics and SEO descriptions that brought attention and business to companies across the web. During this time I also wrote for and was published on several parenting websites including ScaryMommy and KidSimplified.
