I’m a communications professional with 7+ years of experience bringing ideas to life through events, digital media, and community projects. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS Initiated and built a thriving social gathering place for people living with a mental illness in Greater Victoria. Designed and delivered 13 evening events and a bi-weekly afternoon series that included an art market, improv jam, open mic, concerts with local musicians, arts and movement-based workshops, and more. Co-founded and now serve as Board Chair of the Greater Victoria Social Gathering Place Society, guiding its evolution from a pilot project into a non-profit providing low-barrier social opportunities for people in mental health recovery. Created and executed communications strategies that increased awareness and engagement for multiple community organizations, including building and managing multi-channel campaigns (social media, newsletters, websites, and video production). Produced 23 videos of the “Imagine After Hours” virtual series on YouTube. Built and maintained 7 websites on Squarespace for multiple organizations and clients, blending design, user experience, and impactful messaging. Developed and delivered the Travelling TeaHaus, a pop-up mobile tea lounge to 10+ music festivals and events across British Columbia.
