About Laurel McLeod

Empowering community members in their daily lives guides my work. As the Ontario Library Association's Social Media and Communications Specialist, I do just that through the delivery of impactful marketing and communications. With a Master of Fine Arts from OCAD University, I use my interdisciplinary skills in art, media, and design to stay up-to-date on market and social media trends while designing effective communications plans and promotional materials. I believe in the power of visual and written communications, which is why I’m passionate about connecting individuals to local initiatives and broader world issues. Ask me about my volunteer advocacy work with a local dog rescue, Save Our Scruff, or my art practice, in which I embrace environmental themes that spark conversations about meaningful change.
