About Laurel Winch

I am an Instructional Designer Certified in Stork, Inpatient Procedure Orders, Clinical Documentation, Ambulatory, ASAP, OpTime and Anesthesia. My experience as a nurse has given me the opportunity to learn clinical workflows and I have used that experience to teach and design curriculum in the specialties of Stork, ClinDoc, Orders, HOD, Ambulatory, ASAP, OpTime, and Anesthesia. I have been able to develop strong teaching skills as I have taught over 1500 end users in the classroom. I have extensive experience doing on floor support for multiple applications. My background as a Registered Nurse has helped me to effectively teach clinicians of all roles how to succeed at using Epic in their workflow. I am also known for being helpful, hard working, and flexible with the ability to successfully handle even the most challenging situations as a result of well developed communication and organizational skills. I am recognized as a competent health care professional who knows how to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients. My strong initiative and attention to detail combined with my ability to work well under pressure, allow me to play an important role in fast-paced environments.
