About Lauren Acker

My first love and passion is, and will always be, theatre. I spent my youth in the dark, musty backstage of theatres learning to design, engineer, build, and run scenery. I majored in theatrical production in college and moved into production management for the first years of my career. I now work as a consulting project manager and business analyst. This new path allowed me to keep the skills of working in theatre that I loved: organization, management, technical details, creating cohesion, and planning, while moving into a realm where I felt more productive and allowed for career expansion. My position allows me to help clients through project management, business analysis, and IT solutions. I will always love theatre. But sometimes it's nice to sit back and actually get to watch the show.
