Lauren is a Development & Marketing Associate for the Children's Museum at Saratoga, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to creating an interactive community that inspires curiosity, sparks imagination, and nurtures discovery. The Museum is also committed to fostering active parent involvement in children’s learning, to serving as a resource for school districts in the region, and to ensuring that its programs and services are accessible to all children. At Champlain College, Lauren majored in communication, specialized in public relations, and minored in marketing. She has experience working and volunteering for several non-profit organizations who focus on promoting sustainable agriculture to help communities, reducing the effects of poverty for children, and the historical preservation of a safe space for women. Working for an organization with strong social values that wants to make the world a better place has created many opportunities to develop and nurture skills.
