About Lauren Blanco

As a Quality Improvement Project Lead at AvMed, I work with a multidisciplinary team to design, implement, and evaluate quality improvement initiatives that enhance the health outcomes and satisfaction of our members. I have over five years of experience in clinical quality data management, where I applied my skills in process improvement, problem solving, and communication to support the development and execution of quality improvement projects and programs. I am passionate about researching and addressing disparities in health care, and using technology and data to improve the quality and effectiveness of health care delivery. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Health Informatics and Analytics from Florida International University, where I am learning how to leverage data and analytics to inform decision making, optimize performance, and drive innovation in health care. My goal is to contribute to the advancement of health care quality and equity, and to empower members and providers with the information and tools they need to achieve better health outcomes.
