About Lauren Casey

I am currently an Adjunct Instructor in the Psychology Department of Zayed University Abu Dhabi developing curricula, syllabi, content and have taught 1st through to 4th year students. My own research focus is on developmental psychology specifically in relation to behaviour change and examining the association between child behaviour and parenting styles which stemmed from my work as a Behaviour Change Practitioner in the UK where I worked with children and teenagers with autism and their parents to design behaviour strategies and teaching goals to increase socially significant behaviours. In addition to being a lecturer and behaviour change practitioner, I also have experience of leading and facilitating team-building and training workshops for organisations, which is another area of emerging passion for me that - that of executive and leadership education, building on organisational psychology and leadership behaviour courses and research that I have conducted.
