About Lauren Donovan

I am an experienced community association manager, with 11 years of experience. My strengths are in developing strong and beneficial relationships with my Board of Directors, developing effective operational plans and goals for community associations. In addition, I am able to effectively utilize people and financial resources to achieve immediate and long term goals for my Board of Directors. I am passionate about the community association profession and its mission to provide well-managed, beautiful and professionally managed communities. Outside of work you may find me spending as much time as possible with family and friends, at the beach, hiking with my dog, and volunteering. My past experience has been in Real Estate, customer service, and accounting. I have worked on large projects, such as Termite treatment, wood replacement, and Painting of all community buildings (900+ units). I also oversaw and implemented the asphalt replacement project and making sure the project ran smoothly with all owners effectively. Also, I worked with the Turf Renovation project which consisted replacing square feet for turf to drought tolerant plantings. The Association received from the Metropolitan Water District. This project not only cost the association zero dollars they also cut their irrigation watering bill in half. In addition, I wrote an article that was published in the CAI Focus magazine (March-April 2019 edition).
