About Lauren Duda

Currently, I serve as one of the external communications and media leads for Lockheed Martin Space's National Security Space line of business. My portfolio of support includes Connectivity, Transport and Access, as well as Globally Responsive Space programs, like SDA Transport Layer, MUOS, GPS, SouthPAN and SBAS. In this role, I strategize and implement how we share the cool and important stories of these critical programs that keep the world safe and secure. Previously, I was the program communications lead for Lockheed Martin’s Deep Space Exploration & Weather portfolio - including NASA missions like the Hubble Space Telescope, Lucy, OSIRIS-REx, Mars Sample Return and the GOES-R weather satellite series.My aerospace and defense background includes extensive experience across a wide array of communications disciplines: media relations, international communications, crisis communications, strategic communications, social media, digital marketing, executive support, employee communications, trade shows and more. In addition to that experience, I’m also fluent in French, advanced in Spanish.I’m happiest when I can take these foundational skills - coupled with a global perspective - and combine them to do creative, smart storytelling that makes an impact on an industry I'm passionate about.
