About Lauren Duffy

I create and lead arts and culture initiatives that connect communities, strengthen organizations, and expand access to the arts. At the Vancouver Art Gallery, I cultivate donor partnerships that fund and inform exhibitions, programming, and wellbeing initiatives, and to support the Gallery's long-term sustainability. Previously, I led marketing strategy, communications, and client engagement programs at PH & N Institutional, an asset manager serving non-profits, Indigenous communities, and universities across Canada. Before that, I developed national partnerships and culture programs for Scotiabank's arts, culture, and community portfolio - administering award and grant programs, including the Scotiabank Photography Award, New Generation Photography Award, and Scotiabank Charity Challenge. I collaborated with leading arts organizations to launch programs, support artist residencies and juries, and deliver public events that promoted equitable access to the arts. I also serve as a Board Director with Urban Ink, a non-profit that champions Indigenous and diverse voices in the performing arts. Beyond work, you'll find me reading Canadian lit, cross-country skiing, throwing ceramics, or exploring the West Coast.
