Financial Crime Journey Manager responsible for project managing Ulster Bank's strategic financial crime direction and job family lead for 4 Eye Checking Team, Personal Large Transaction Report Team, and Risk & Controls Team. Previously Senior Analyst in FLOD Controls responsible for co-ordinating financial crime policy changes, Regulatory inspections, and chair of governance meetings. Prior experience of Senior Business Analyst (Registered Prince 2 Practitioner) on the Financial Crime Programme involved in Politically Exposed Persons/ Business Remediation, Tactical Compliant On-Boarding, and High Risk Customer Remediation projects. Project led 'CINs with 1st Initial'. These 3 projects aimed to ensure that UB was compliant with new AML Policy Regulations as outlined by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Central Bank of Ireland (CBI). By being involved on these projects I acquired a wealth of knowledge in regards to KYC Requirements, Banking Procedures, Processes and Systems. In recognition of my work on the Financial Crime Programme I was awarded with an AML Champion Award at the RBS Group Conference in Bishopsgate, London in November 2012 and various UB Change awards. Press Relations Officer for the Northern Ireland Tenpin Bowling Federation (NITBF). Worked as Press Relations Officer during the 2008 Commonwealth Championships. These Commonwealths received the most media coverage for any Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Championship. I am also a Council Member and COVID-19 Safety Officer for the NITBF. 1st Class Honours Degree in Criminology from Queens University Belfast, specialising in Policing, Youth Crime, Criminal Justice System NI and RI, Crime and the Media, Drugs and Crime, Crime and Society, and Research Skills. Gained a qualification in SPSS. Completed an Undergraduate dissertation on 'Police perception of CCTV'.
