Background
About Lauren Eichholz
My career path is atypical to what you might typically see from someone that started their career in #sales. To put it candidly, I HATE selling but LOVE problem-solving. That all sales is when you boil it down. As an inside and outside sales rep, I found myself passively developing the teams I worked with that were directly responsible for booking my calendar. If you were ever previously a rep booking for me, you know more than anyone that being coachable is the best way to build rapport and improve our working relationship. I’ve spent my career in sales doing a few things – educating myself as much as possible on the job, the industry I work/call in, and the people I interact with as well as going to great lengths to make people feel heard and valued. I’ve learned that if you value money over people, you may make a lot of money, but you won't be fulfilled at the end of the work day. For me, money is what I use to build the life I want to live OUTSIDE OF WORK. Gotta have that balance and remember what is truly important. Since leaving the world of being an IC (individual contributor) in 2021, I have found fulfillment in working alongside a team of ICs to help them be empowered to do their job more efficiently and with well-informed sales acumen. I have been approached a handful of times with offers to manage sales teams at a regional level, which is the track for most sales leaders I know. This option has never appealed to me and I knew I needed to find a role with less travel (to stay close to my son, husband, dogs, and chickens.yes chickens), and a role that allowed me to develop sales reps to be their best without also being bogged down with tracking daily activity/output which bores me to tears. In Q4 of 2021, I was approached to build a playbook for ISS/OSS sales reps for the Enterprise department with RoadRunner Recycling. Leveraging metrics, data, and coupling with personal experience from being a rep myself, the framework for building this asset was born. My day-to-day now consists of training on the tools and framework I built alongside two colleagues, and I could not be more pleased to see these tools in action! In summary, I pride myself on my loyalty to my team, my family, and my moral compass. I am more than my career, but it does help that I enjoy where and with whom I spend my time during the work week. Outside of work you can find me in the sunshine with my son, Jackson, and my husband Brandon. My goal for life is to own a working farm with all. the. animals. Want to know more? Send me a message!
