About Lauren MacFarlane

I am a creative spirit by nature with an unwavering passion for breaking through the status quo. After spending 10+ years honing my craft in marketing, branding, design and event management I made the decision to step into my own path and founded Creative Waves Group. At Creative Waves Group we specialize in helping businesses elevate their brand, develop their digital presence and implement client service models that create memorable experiences and loyal clients. My experience spans across many industries including the wealth management, luxury automotive, pharmaceutical, sports and entertainment, home improvement and higher education sectors. Before founding Creative Waves Group, I most recently lead the Private Wealth Management Marketing Solutions group at TD Wealth – a team of marketing enthusiasts dedicated to empowering advisors to elevate their brand, execute client acquisition strategies and most importantly, deliver a distinguished client experience. I was happiest when knee deep in discussions with advisors and their teams – sharing ideas, making recommendations, resolving challenges. While managing the team, I had the opportunity to travel across Canada to deliver 100+ presentations to advisory teams, leadership executives and colleagues to inspire a passion for brand and marketing and demonstrate how to effectively incorporate the strategies and tools into their practice. On a personal note, I'm known for my love of the east coast as a proud native of Nova Scotia. If it was up to me, everyday would be spent by the beach – breathing in the salt-water stained air and getting tossed around in the waves. Having recently moved to Colorado, I am also finding a similar serenity while hiking or skiing in the mountain landscapes. When indoors, I am totally in my element if my sleeves are rolled up in the kitchen cooking and preparing to host and entertain the incredible friends and family I am is so grateful to have.
