About Lauren MacRae

Hi, I’m Lauren I’m a content strategist and storyteller looking to help you hop off the hamster wheel and move from content churn to content that counts. After spending over a decade working in communications, including the last six years at Worldwide Cancer Research, I’ve learned that making an impact isn’t about producing more - it’s about what I call 'Purposeful Production'. This involves building smarter processes, digging into audience insight, and making your content work harder without extra time or budget. In less than a year, this approach to our Instagram content helped us: Grow our audience by 66% Increase reach by 22% Boost video views by 786% Raise engagement by 387%Now I'm working to share what I’ve learned through public speaking and mentoring, helping charity teams create meaningful content that connects with the right audiences and drives real results. It's all built around three pillars: Lead with purpose - ask why before what. Work smarter - reduce, reuse, and recycle.🤝 Bring others on the journey - find solutions and not problems.Sustainable, strategic storytelling can help every hour and every post count. Let’s connect!
