As a Security Health and Safety Manager at SugarCreek, I oversee the safety programs and policies for a leading co-packer that produces high-quality products for many of the nation's top brands, retailers, and foodservice chains. With over 10 years of experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, I have a strong background in emergency medicine, emergency management, and ergonomics, which enables me to prevent, respond to, and mitigate risks and hazards in the workplace. I am passionate about creating a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, customers, and visitors, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. I also have a keen interest in occupational safety and health, and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in this field from Columbia Southern University. My goal is to continuously learn and improve my skills and knowledge, and to share best practices and insights with my team and the wider industry. I believe that true humility is staying teachable regardless of how much you already know.
