About Lauren Patrick

As an Academic Designer at McGraw Hill, I apply my master's degree in reading teacher education and my skills in goal setting and communication to create engaging and effective learning materials for students and teachers. I joined McGraw Hill in August 2023, after a seven-year teaching assignment at Ashwaubenon School District in Green Bay, WI, where I demonstrated my classroom management and instructional abilities. I have over 10 years of experience in the education field, working as a teacher, tutor, and curriculum developer for various schools and organizations. My core competencies include designing, developing, and evaluating curriculum, assessments, and instructional strategies that align with state standards and best practices. My mission is to enhance the quality and accessibility of education for all learners, especially those who face challenges or barriers in their academic journey. I am passionate about reading and writing, and I enjoy collaborating with other educators and experts in the field.
