About Lauren Pearson

I am the Business Manager for the specialist network at Lancashire and south Cumbria Foundation Trust. I have completed the General Management Trainee scheme with a Merit in Healthcare Leadership and Management. I have a clinical background of Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) specialising in Anaesthetics practice. I am dual trained in Theatres and ICU. I am ambitious when it come to my work and have exceptional organisational skills. I love to push myself and conquer challenging situations as it helps to improve my professional working. I worked as a health care assistant along side my ODP degree to gain hands on experience of the inner working of the NHS and support myself financially, showing independence and prioritisation for my work/life balance. I hope to fully understand how the NHS functions and what is needed for the daily running of such incredible organisations. I am extremely interested in global health and health policy.
