About Lauren Souther

I’m a strategic, content-driven marketing professional with experience crafting integrated campaigns that build brand awareness, drive B2B engagement, and support economic development across global and domestic markets. Currently, I lead marketing strategy for three core divisions—Global Commerce, International Trade, and International Relations—at the Georgia Department of Economic Development. I manage vendor relationships, team budgets, and a direct report while overseeing multi-channel initiatives that span trade shows, digital campaigns, and international programs. I thrive on turning complex information into compelling content and partnering across teams to deliver work that’s on-brand, on-budget, and on time. My background spans public sector, private industry, and freelance work, with proven results in email marketing, social media growth, and content strategy. I strive to bring creativity, clarity, and strategic insight to every conversation.
