About Lauren Spears

I am currently the Lead Analyst for Spears and Associates, Inc, an oilfield market research firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Using a large well record database, I generate in-depth market analysis including: company market shares, estimated company revenues, and market trends in the U.S. and in every major oil basin. My work is featured in a large number of reports, with companies like BP, Schlumberger, and Baker Hughes as clients. I also own a Designer & Vintage retail store, SoBo Co, that purchases and consigns gently used, high end goods to sell at significantly reduced prices. This company accomplishes three major goals for me: 1. Giving people access to high quality designer goods that would otherwise be out of reach. Providing a guilt-free shopping experience where people can purchase new pieces without contributing to clothing waste or companies with suspect manufacturing practices. Providing a platform for emerging local designers to display their locally made designs, while keeping a large portion of resulting sales. I am extremely proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and have basic VBA programming knowledge. I recently graduated from the University of Tulsa with a B.S. in Mathematics. As I continue my career, I hope to learn how to best use different analysis software and apply my market analysis in other areas of interest, like entertainment, sports, or public relations. I also have developed as a stylist, creative director, and social media coordinator. Through SoBo Co, I have been able to style clients, models, concieve and actualize multiple photo shoots, and coordinate all social media platforms. I would love to do more of this in the future.
