About Lauren Sullivan

I was born and raised in southwest Montana and moved to Missoula, MT for my undergrad where I studied Marketing and Management. In the fall of 2021, I had one class left to finish my Marketing degree and had way too much free time so I decided to get a part-time job. Scheels was getting ready to open their new location in Missoula so I applied thinking I would just work there part-time while I finished school in Missoula and then hopefully transfer to the Minot location. When I accepted to position, I planned to work there until I finished school, then move on to work in the sports industry. I lasted a little over a month part-time and moved to a full-time position. It didn't take long for me to realize all the opportunities Scheels had to offer. I worked in a variety of areas and positions during my first year then I moved to a sales position. After a few months of sales, I knew that I wanted to challenge myself and learn more. In the spring of 2023, I applied for a management training program where I got to challenge myself and learn more in-depth about the company. Within a few months of being in the management program, I knew that this was what I wanted to do. I finished school in May of 2023 and decided to make Scheels my career. In December 2023, I interviewed to be an assistant store leader (ASL) and later that month I was offered a position. I started as an ASL in January 2024 and am loving my new position. In my free time, I like watching sports, hanging out with my friends and family, hunting, fishing, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and taking pictures. My favorite place that I have visited so far is Niagra Falls where I was able to zip line next to the falls and my favorite place to explore is Glacier National Park. Visiting all the National Parks in the United States is on my bucket list.
