About Lauren Wall

Digital Health - Capacity Strengthening - GenderLauren Wall’s public health career spans 15 years of experience designing and implementing training and technical assistance programs in the Americas, Africa, and Asia. In her current role as Director of Programs for Digital Square, she provides strategic leadership, partnership building, resource mobilization, and oversight of programmatic and operational activities. She also drives strategic planning and management to support a growing portfolio that meets the complex human capacity needs experienced by health systems undergoing digital transformation. Prior to her current role, she drove strategy, innovation, and qualitative research portfolios in global surgery academic and not-for-profit organizations. She has overseen complex, multi-donor, multi-million-dollar technical assistance and training programs with funding from BMGF, CDC, USAID, UNICEF, Google.org, GIZ, WHO, and private philanthropy.Lauren holds an MPH in Maternal & Child Health from the UNC Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health. She is a doctoral student in Global Health Policy and Evaluation at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her interests include digital transformation of health information systems; frontline workers; monitoring, evaluation & learning; women’s leadership; gender transformation; and feminist training approaches.
