About Lauren Yoder

Experienced People Business Partner supporting the needs of the Uplight business through the lens of the team. I work directly with our C-Suite and Senior leadership group across the company and specifically support Delivery & Operations, Sales, Strategy, Marketing, Professional Services, Legal, and our People teams in North America. I have also supported Finance, Security and IT teams. I drive high-level strategic initiatives for 300+ team members in the US, Canada, India and additional countries worldwide with a focus on culture and experience, engagement and belonging, turnover, compensation, strategic planning, and establishing scaleable and repeatable processes. I am eager to make a difference in the lives of those around me and inspire a team-driven, strategic, and agile environment. Prior to my time at Uplight, most notably, I worked in HR account management and leadership roles at Insperity and Target. At Insperity, I was responsible for a team of 6 HR professionals and hundreds of multi-industry clients across Colorado, Utah, and Washington. At Target, I worked as a store-side full cycle HR executive and led a team of 200+ team members with a focus on recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, retention and engagement. I stand for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the workplace and believe that a diverse and equitable team helps an organization and individuals thrive. I live my DEI values every day, most notably as a leader with Uplight's Prism ERG (LGBTQ+) for 1.5 years. I attended Chadron State College where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration in 2013 as well as a Master of Science degree in Organizational Management- Human Services degree in 2015. I also played on the Division 2 volleyball team at Chadron State. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and getting outdoors whenever possible.
