With over 20 years of experience in security risk management, emergency management, and security operations, I am a passionate and multilingual team builder who enables humanitarian and development actors to operate freely and securely in complex environments. I currently work as a Global Security Advisor at World University Service of Canada (WUSC - EUMC), where I provide technical support, risk assessment and analysis, security awareness training, and timely safety and security guidance to staff and volunteers. I have a strategic and analytical mindset and a commitment to knowledge sharing. I hold a Certificate in Humanitarian Response from Harvard University and have contributed to the design, development, and delivery of the new Security in Complex and Operationally Remote Environments (SCORE) course. I also have a wide-ranging technical background, including over 30 years of hands-on experience with computer hardware and software at all levels. I thrive as a go-to person, assisting coworkers and customers solve problems and achieve their goals. I am also a certified peer supporter in crisis situations.
