I have over 15 years experience of IT enabled business change including large scale migrations, integrations and BAU excellence. My skills are in designing and implementing core infrastructure solutions. This includes cloud, virtualised and physical. I have worked as an Infrastructure Architect, Infrastructure Engineer and System Administrator. Sectors include investment banking, asset management, insurance, retail and charity. Current technical skillset includes: • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2016. • Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Azure AD). • Microsoft Active Directory (AD DS, AD CS and AD FS). • VMware vSphere 5x and 6x. • Networking (Microsoft Windows Server 2016 SDN). • Storage (VMware vSAN and Microsoft Windows Server 2016 SDS). • ServiceNow. • JIRA. Recent projects and BAU administration includes: • Enterprise administration of complex globally distributed server infrastructures. • Data centre design and migration. • On premise migration to Azure. • ISO 27001 projects including implementing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and DDoS mitigation. • Providing MI on the stability and performance of infrastructure platforms. • Working with developers in a DevOps environment. • Maintaining relationships with suppliers including hardware, software and datacentre suppliers. • Upgrading remote branch offices from Windows Server 2008 R2 to Windows Server 2012 R2 on VMware vSAN. • Building and testing disaster recovery plans. • Problem Management including root cause analysis (RCA). • Change Management including representing Infrastructure at change advisory board meetings.
