Background

About Laurence Modrego

Building on a two-decade career as a consultant and trainer in EU advocacy, policy, and politics, I have recently retrained as an agroecologist. My mission: to explain complex matters in simple words and to build bridges (metaphorically). Capable of both in-depth and big-picture thinking, I am a thorough professional with strong intuition. Thanks to ten years of experience in two of the largest EU public affairs consultancies, I have mastered the full range of advocacy and lobbying tactics. I am therefore a versatile EU professional with a helicopter view of European affairs, including policy, politics, and communications. I recently completed a Master’s degree in Agroecology, with the goal of contributing to Europe’s agricultural transition and giving a second life to my family’s farm. I speak French, English, Spanish, and Dutch.
