My name is Laurence Riley. I am a Noongar man from the Wilmen, Menang, Kenang and Ballardong Clan groups of the Noongar nation, situated in the South West of Western Australia. My primary focus is on strategically aligning Aboriginal services with our other competitive services and businesses throughout our local, state and national enterprises. My main areas of expertise is Government, Consultation, Policy and Governance, Aboriginal Affairs, Coordination, Project Management, Contract Management, Business Management, Cultural Respect/ Awareness/ Governance and Strategy. I provide and use these skills in the areas of Youth, Justice, Health, Education, Training, Employment and Equality. I am young, however look at problems and barriers with a different mindset and provide a younger lens on ways to overcome those issues by introducing quality services and results at all levels. I am also keen to progress and gain skills and development in private consultancy, or to join consortium's and/ or individual groups to provide my cultural knowledge, with skills and expertise to enhance their service; particularly when evaluating or working with Aboriginal people, services or organisations.
