Professor Holmes was trained and educated in medical pharmacology, immunology, internal medicine (clinical immunology & infectious disease), oncology, epidemiology & biostatistics and Epigenomics (genes and environment interaction). Experienced Cancer Epidemiologist/Biostatistician with a demonstrated history of working with large sample data in assessing exposure effect heterogeneity; with current focus on aberrant epigenomic modulation in disease biomarker,causality, incidence, prognosis, survival and mortality. Skilled in hybrid study designs and reality in statistical modeling of clinical, population-based and translational data as well as in risk-adapted intervention mapping with signal amplification and risk stratification modeling. Developed Quantitative Evidence Synthesis (QES), an applied meta-analysis, implying studying studies and analyzing analysis, in the direction of data-driven intervention in clinical medicine and public health. Published extensively in hormone-related malignancies namely prostate cancer, testicular, colon, thyroid, and childhood leukemia (ALL & AML). Currently serves as an Editor-in-Chief of Pediatric Health, Medicine & Therapeutics. Published author of high impact books in applied epidemiology & Biostatistics. Committed to achieving health equity through epigenomic modulations, socio-epigenomics, trans-disciplinary initiative and team science approaches to understanding sub-populations variabilities in morbidity, prognosis and mortality in the US and globally. Professor Holmes anticipates transitioning clinical medicine to epigenomic medicine in enhancing precision or personalized medicine in therapeutics improvement across all subpopulations. Additionally, Professor Holmes proposes to transform public health into Epigenomic Pubic Health by initiating a real time gene expression device, thereby facilitating optimal preventive health services. Recent publications include: Within twelve months, an epigemiologic text with specific focus on epigenomic epidemiology is anticipated to be published, with the information in this text to be utilized in environment assessment with patients and subpopulations as the center of care in transforming global health equity.
