About Lauri Brouwer

I'm a licensed naturopathic physician working in Arizona, helping women IN their prime who don't feel like they're AT their prime to fuel their inner fire and pursue their burning desires. I strive to embody the American Association of Naturopathic Physician’s motto, “Physicians Who Listen” and my own burning desire is to help others to create the best possible lives for themselves while honoring the wisdom and healing power of nature. I practice as a general family physician with special emphasis on women’s health, graceful aging, and digestive health. I'm passionate about empowering patients to take charge of their health by educating them about nutrition, lifestyle choices, and optimized hormones, working with them to create programs to achieve their individual goals. In addition to nutrition, hormone supplementation and botanical medicine, I also use acupuncture, IV therapies, aromatherapy, and stress management. Naturopathic medicine is based in finding and addressing the underlying root cause of disharmony or dis-ease in the body, and I'm a firm believer in this principle. To this end I work with each patient to determine the potential biochemical, structural, environmental, or mental/emotional/spiritual basis of their particular case and work with them to move toward ideal health. In searching for the causes of poor health, I may employ laboratory tests such as standard blood testing, food allergy testing, micronutrient, hormone, or lipoprotein particle profiles, but will always focus my attention on the most important investigational tool of all, listening.
