Over 15 years experience in Finnish pension funds and foundations, both state mandatory (TyEL) and additional benefits. My main responsibilities include- appointed actuary for majority of pension funds and foundations in Finland - various consultative assignments: corporate acquisitions, legislative reforms, risk assessments- representing pension funds and foundations in various workgroups - calculations of pension liabilities, solvency, short and long term forecasts - guiding the work of ca. 10 mathematicians in Porasto - overseeing software development. Previously I have also been involved with IFRS reporting on pension funds and insurance policies and other post employment benefit arrangements.
