Following my heart to obtain my BSN from UW with the goal to work in cancer care and hospice, the past 5 years have been a beautiful ride working in both fields. First in an inpatient hospital oncology floor at a larger hospital then starting an Oncology Nurse Navigation program at rural cancer center and now work at a local nonprofit hospice care. I love nursing in these fields. Helping people at a vulnerable time when honesty and dignity are so important. I work with incredible people at the Hospice of Laramie, Laramie Wyoming that together we exemplify quality end of life care. Every day is an honor to work with this team of professionals and the patients/families during this tender time.
