Background
About Lauryn Ford
I spent my childhood feeling shy and fearful of having my voice heard. In contrast, as I grew older, I enthusiastically chose to become a Communications major. What caused this change? To begin with, I have always been someone who is interested in reading and writing. I loved the way that writers could powerfully convey so much value to an audience, and I wanted to advance my skillset in this way. Secondly, I wanted to face my fear of public speaking. As I advanced through my courses, I began to feel more comfortable giving speeches and presentations, and I would even go as far as to say that I enjoyed it. Through my Communications major and Professional Writing, Literacy, and Rhetoric minor, I hope to be able to help companies reach new heights. I am now seeking my next opportunity in the Greater Seattle area. I look forward to connecting with you!
