As Director of Development at Wheelchairs 4 Kids, I lead our fundraising strategy, manage all grant writing and reporting, and oversee donor engagement. My focus is on turning our mission into tangible impact for kids with physical disabilities.I began at Wheelchairs 4 Kids as a Development Coordinator and now manage the development department. In my second year, I increased my personal fundraising contributions by 250 percent, a milestone that reflects both strategic growth and a strong commitment to the families we serve. Since then, I’ve played a key role in securing major grants and expanding support for our signature programs, including Let’s Roll, which provides mobility and accessibility equipment, and Wheely Fun Days, which offers inclusive social experiences for the children we serve.I earned degrees in Political Science and Spanish from NC State and have a long-standing passion for service, with volunteer experience at organizations like Meals on Wheels, Safe Alliance, and Ronald McDonald House. I believe that sustainable support creates lasting change, and I’m proud to help lead a team that’s making that change a reality.
