I am an experienced Senior Accountant in Financial Accounting and Reporting with a strong background in managing and delivering accurate financial statements. My expertise also lies in performing reconciliations over the Back office and general ledger and ensuring permanent fixes through root cause analysis. In my role, I am proficient in reviewing the timelines and other work of different entities. I also liaise with business units to address open issues and conduct analytical reviews to provide valuable insights through variance analysis of financial statements. I excel in investigating intercompany breaks between group entities, where I leverage my understanding of different accounting practices to propose strategic solutions. Additionally, I have been involved in doing GL Impact analysis of breaks, posting manual corrections, and substantiating differences with supported commentaries to the top management. Maintained flat transitory accounts like Intercompany, and Intersystem, managed nostro reconciliation for UK region, gained an understanding of different accounting practices, and proposed strategic solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy. I have also played a pivotal role in migration for a new general ledger One Finance System (OFS) application within the team and led process transitions from the UK to the Mumbai office in 2022 and 2023, successfully managing timelines and expectations throughout the transition period. I started out my career as an Analyst which specialized in building financial models and preparing Financial Models using historical data and providing forecasts based on various industry-related operating metrics.
