Coordinate the restoration efforts in collaboration with Electric Operations’ areas in the Operations Organization. Assist in the development and implementation of best practices to achieve efficient and effective transmission and distribution system operations and dispatch. Assist in the planning and implementation of technological enhancements for the System Operations Centers. Monitor system conditions and loading, pool coordination, safety clearance support, event notification and reporting and coordination of activities in support of the Operations and Restoration processes. Communicate with customers, communities, executives and other stakeholders in regard to system conditions and restoration efforts. Manage the System Emergency Preparedness activities jointly with other Electric Operations managers, including operating, tagging and work practices and standards.
