From the medicine counter to the pastor's pulpit to leading one of New Orleans' most impactful STEM organizations — my journey has always been about one thing: empowering people to rise. I'm Lawrence Jackson, Jr, and for over 25 years, I've dedicated my life to opening doors that others said couldn't be opened. As Chief Administrative Officer at STEM NOLA, I lead the administration division, grants management (including Federal Grants), and multiple strategic initiatives that expose thousands of students to careers they never knew existed. We're building confidence, igniting curiosity, and proving that zip codes don't determine destinies. What drives me: Growing up in New Orleans, I witnessed firsthand how access to opportunity transforms lives. That's why I've spent my career at the intersection of education, entrepreneurship, and community leadership — ensuring the next generation has the vision to become innovators and changemakers.
