About Lawrence Louick

I am a 20+ year Law Enforcement veteran with extensive experience investigating Crimes Against Persons, Crimes Against Children, etc. I am a Use of Force Instructor and a Force Science Analyst with experience investigating officer involved shootings and training law enforcement officers. In 2014 I co-developed a Community Outreach project aimed at educating community members on why officers use force, when and what guides our training. I have managed large scale homicide investigations with multiple crime scenes that involved investigative support from numerous local and federal agencies. I have participated in several dozen officer involved shooting investigations as well as unique and uncommon uses of force resulting in death. Prior to being promoted to Detective in 2010, I spent 11 years in uniform-five of which were as a DWI Enforcement Deputy where I earned my certification to conduct Drug Influence Evaluations of impaired drivers (I was the valedictorian of my class) and in total I made 1200-1300 impaired driving arrests and had a conviction rate of over 99%. I graduated ranked 1st in my NM Law Enforcement Academy class at Western New Mexico University in While my professional experience is almost exclusively in the area of Law Enforcement, my gregarious, energetic and outgoing personality together with my superior verbal and written communication skills make me an asset outside my profession. Development (fundraising), sales and community outreach are all examples of professions where my above mentioned skills place me on your list of worthy candidates.
