About Lawrence Mann

My passion is to build open, honest and trustful long-term relationships with my customers and internally with my colleagues. I’m constantly opening conversations and listening to what a customer's challenges and problems are. By engaging and having these conversations we can then define solutions together. My goal is to understand what makes the customer tick – individually and as an organisation – and bring solutions that help them achieve their goals. Ask the right questions, listen to the answers, define solutions and present them in a format that the customer understands, then work to remove barriers to purchase. I have 20 years of telecoms and IT experience, with a strong commercial, technical and marketing background that enables me to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of a business. Recent successes I am proud of include moving a prospect from initial call to first sale within 3 months, with a clear understanding of follow-on purchases. With another customer, resetting and redefining the relationship to enable new purchases and opening leads in new areas. As a Major Account Manager at Fortinet, I leverage my skills in business development, collaboration and technical understanding to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts in Belgium and Luxembourg. I work with a diverse and talented team of sales, engineering and support professionals to provide innovative and tailored solutions for network security. I am motivated by the challenge of exceeding sales targets and delivering customer satisfaction.
