As a Mechatronics Engineer at Dennisson Technologies Ltd, I am at the forefront of innovation with our development of AURAFLEX. This artificial muscle leverages cutting-edge smart material technology, designed to move or change shape in response to external stimuli. When exposed to bright light, AURAFLEX contracts, pulling weights several hundred times its own within seconds. With a contraction range of 0-30% of its length, it opens up new possibilities in Soft Robotics and Wearable Technologies.Before joining Dennisson Technologies, I contributed to the growth of Pastoral Robotics Ltd, a startup focused on creating robots to help dairy farmers reduce nitrate leaching and nitrous oxide emissions. My work there helped the company move towards self-sustainability. I hold a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Auckland, where I developed a robust system to identify puddles for use in agricultural farming.I pride myself on my diligence and hard work, qualities honed from my education at Auckland Grammar School through to my university years and now in my professional career. These attributes have been recognized through various awards and achievements. Beyond my professional life, I am committed to serving others, volunteering regularly at the Auckland City Mission. I am also active in sports, including basketball, boxing, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. The discipline and teamwork I’ve gained from these activities enhance my performance and contribute positively to every work environment.
