Experienced semi-retired Anesthesiologist and ICU Specialist (Critical Care Medicine) with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & healthcare industry, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) focused in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (Critical Care Medicine) from McMaster University. Able to work in partnership with multiple agencies required to work in synergy to meet a common goal. Extensive experience in reviewing different types of documents, synthesizing, writing reports and reporting verbally and in-writing to authorities Also, extensive experience as Regional Medical Director,(Critical Care) Patient Transport Service, Interior Health Authority, BC. In partnership with B.C. Emergency Health Services and Interior Health established the first Air Ambulance (Helicopter) in the Interior of B.C - based in Kamloops, B.C. Also established 4 ground-based Interior Health Critical Care RN, and Respiratory Therapist (as needed) with B.C. Emergency Health Services Basic Level Paramedics in 4 locations in Interior BC (Cranbrook/Trail/Penticton/Kamloops)- to transport patients from rural areas to higher levels of care in Kelowna and Kamloops - during times when Air Ambulance could not fly due to severe weather, or already deployed on another Transport (High Acuity Response [HART] teams Also, BC Emergency Health Services - Transport Advisor for Air Ambulance Advanced Care Paramedics.
