About Lawrence Wang

My journey into software development represents a significant career transition for me. In my previous professional life, I honed my analytical skills as a property and casualty insurance actuary. During this time, I became intimately familiar with handling extensive datasets and tackling complex projects that required deep insights derived from data. Along the way, I discovered a passion for identifying and resolving issues, whether they were bugs within the data or user interfaces. The satisfaction I derived from enhancing code quality and resolving these challenges ultimately inspired me to embark on a new path as a software developer. To achieve my newfound goals, I dedicated hundreds of hours and completed an accelerated web development program. Through this immersive experience, I actively worked on various projects, gaining hands-on experience and cultivating the ability to independently absorb information and tackle novel problems. By combining my analytical background with my software development skills, I am ready to take on new challenges and make a positive impact!Always happy to connect, please reach out!Email: https://github.com/wang-lawrence
