Over 60 years in the mining and associated sectors including engineering, mining company analysis, financial and technical writing and publishing. From September 2006 to October 2012 managed and edited Mineweb.com global website, more than doubling its readership and increasing revenues threefold - Retired from Exec management in October 2012 but continued working for Mineweb for 3 years as freelance writer on precious metals, mining finance and other aspects of mining, marketing for Mineweb and undertaking freelance technical writing assignments (primarily on mining, tunnelling and other construction activities) for others. I also own, edit and write for lawrieongold.com - a precious metals blog site. I ended my contract with Mineweb at end-August 2015 and now write for sharpspixley.com in the UK as a contributing editor concentrating on precious metals news and analysis. as well as US Gold Bureau and Rosland Capital - the last two in the USA. Respected author on most aspects of precious metals. Now semi-retired but still writing for the above companies. Looking for additional consulting and freelance writing work to fill my time. Prepared to travel. Looking for sponsorship to attend major mining financial events globally. Also founded Barbican Life lifestyle type quarterly glossy magazine for the plus residents the Barbican in London. Started magazine 17 years ago and it seems to grow every year! Edited it for 15 years and have now passed it on to new editor - Helen Hudson. I no longer have an apartment in the Barbican.
