About Lazard Toe

Over 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry, Lazard has an extensive track record as performing manager. The financial services sector has been his core business area even if he spent a short time in civil administration (Ministry of Economy and Finance) of his country – Burkina Faso where he participated as deputy project manager in the development of a large project named “Integrated System of civil administration staff”. Mr. Toe, quickly entered in the insurance industry with the international insurance group Allianz specifically in the subsidiary of his country. He gradually moved from Head of Division to Executive Director in charge of Information System and General Services. He handled various projects of IT and Telecom area as well as Insurance related. IBM S36 and later IBM AS/400 have been his specialised platform with large experience in administration, development and maintenance. He acquired a full skill set through training and seminar in Africa and Europe. Between 2002 and 2009 he served as project co-lead for the development of an integrated insurance solution for Allianz. In 2009, Lazard joined the African Reinsurance Corporation (Africa-Re) in Lagos – Nigeria where is currently Head of Organisation & Methods. Mr. Lazard Toe holds a BSC in software development and master degree in Information System Engineering doubled with Information System Designer from 3IL – Limoges, France. He also own several certifications in IT Service delivery, IT strategy and design and Project management, participated in various conferences and seminars across the world and is member of professional bodies. French and English fluently spoken and written.
