Top 5 Clifton Strengths: Relator/Responsibility/Empathy/Futuristic/Developer After spending 2 years with our Development team I made the move to our Communications team. That position was created to support the Chief Communications Officer and developed with my skills in mind. Now a part of the marketing team, I serve as a Marketing Specialist- we partner with 2300 employees and over 130 service lines. I proofread and edit at a high level, not only for my team, but for other teams and CEO. I work well independently but thrive when I'm able to creatively collaborate with others; finding ways to connect with co-workers and listen to ideas. I have excellent interpersonal communication skills and truly enjoy using my authenticity, positivity and resourcefulness to bring people together to find answers, solve problems and create. I enjoy capturing and writing original, inspirational stories about the people we serve, supporting these stories by taking video or photographs (pre-COVID) and finding unique ways to use them on our social media channels & website. My background in advertising and publishing gives me a creative edge when documenting stories and creating posts and collateral. I helped create - and maintain - a resource pool for company branded items-building and maintaining our supply and helping other teams find what they need. I also worked to help successfully create an employee portal where collateral can be ordered online - making the process seamless, quick and easy for our busy front line staff. In 2019, I helped to manage a series of corporate events led by our CEO. I handled details related to event planning and was onsite day-of to support the events. My previous experience with event planning helped me lead these successful projects. In addition to my communication skills, I excel at event planning and any large project that brings together my creativity, ability to work with others and my strong attention to detail! I have previous work experience including advertising (tight, weekly deadlines), news/magazine publishing, copy editing/writing and public relations. I enjoy the variety of working in the dynamic field of Communications. I want to continue to grow and learn - it's exciting how fast it changes. Moving forward, I have an interest in social media and the result-driven analytics that accompany it. My ideal position includes a combination of communication and event planning. I envision continuing to set myself apart as a problem solver, a dependable co-worker & a loyal employee that brings people together.
