My partner Tom Seymour and I started Terra Firma Laboratories in 2005 and have grown the business to offer construction materials testing services across Australia with laboratories based in Berwick and Deer Park in Victoria and at Bibra Lakes in Perth, Western Australia. We have experience in major earthworks project in the civil construction and mining infrastructure projects across regional and remote locations in Australia as well as landfill construction projects offering inspection and testing services for earthworks and geosynthetic materials. We operate NATA accredited testing facilities and offer a comprehensive range of testing methods in relation to AS1289 and AS1141 series for soils, rock and aggregates as well as a broad range of mechanical testing for geosynthetic materials. At Terra Firma Laboratories I project manage our landfill construction projects and publish our technical reports for our EPA audited projects. I also have responsibility for overseeing financial control of the organisation, manage the business systems including quality system accreditation under NATA to ISO17025.
