About Lea Drogalis
My adult life has been steeped in scientific research. As a senior in high school, I worked as a student researcher in the Freshman Research Initiative studying aptamer selection using SELEX. I earned by Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Colorado where I studied RNA riboswitches as an undergraduate and as a research technician. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Doublié lab at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. I serve as a mentor to junior members of our lab and a student representative on several committees for my graduate program.
